About/Contact

Once described by a supervisor as a “sociologist gone bad,” Parke Troutman is a San Diego-based policy advocate and analyst, engaged in issues from climate change to city planning to the local food movement to federal anti-poverty programs to tobacco. His son once described him as being interested in “the three W’s”: Wreading, Writing and Walking. Since coming out of his COVID shell, he’s been learning social dance, especially Lindy Hop.
