Interlibrary Loan at the Ohio State University tells me that they can scan a copy of my senior thesis and send it to me. It has yet to happen. Once I get it, however, it will be posted here. My senior thesis, directed by Dr. Gisela Hinkle in the Sociology Department, was about the influence of Jean-Paul Sartre on Michel Foucault’s ideas of power, which were very trendy ideas in academia when I was an undergraduate (1992–1996). I pretty decisively turned against this kind of writing within a few years, but I think if you know where to look, its influence can be seen in my subsequent work.
